Resourceful.  Creative.  Stupefyingly well-groomed.  These are just a few of the descriptors appropriate to the men of the Kilo Yankee Platoon.  Our named is derived from using the NATO Phonetic Alphabet for the state abbreviation for Kentucky (KY).  Why, Kentucky?  Because not only is it the finest state in the union, it is where the majority of the Kilo Yankee enlistees claim residence.

Primarily, this site serves as a place where platoon members can discuss their experiences with the first person shooters that capture our interest, our shared love of beer, sports and whatever else blows our hair back.  You will notice that we refer to ourselves by our Xbox Live gamertags.  We do so as gaming is the primary way this platoon interacts together.

For any legal eyes out there scanning this site, we make no claims of ownership to any in-game images or video from the various game titles, sporting events or other potentially copyrighted content discussed here.  The video and images here are shared only to compliment our celebration of these interests.  We hope you give us a pass in light of the amount of time the users here have elected to invest in your products and/or services as opposed to fighting to save the whales.

For everyone else, we hope you find some enjoyment in our tales of video game objectives achieved, sports fan euphoria experienced and fantastic new ales discovered.  The content here is tailored to folks on the cusp of – or long past entering – their third decade on this planet with interests similar to our own.  If you are too young to have ever used a corded rotary phone on a regular basis, hate sports, dislike beer and/or have zero interest in Xbox 360 gaming, then we hope you enjoy the pictures.
